A large body of work creates connection long after you're gone

atomic

There’s no known way to be immortal.

Everyone must die at some point.

It’s a sad fact; one that is hard for some to confront.

I’m one of those people. I have a hard time confronting anything related to death.

But I’ve realized something important: as humans, we are driven to create and make things.

We are driven, biologically, to have children that carry our genetics and our DNA forward into the future.

We are driven to write essays, tweets, videos, blog posts, etc.

And all of it is so that we can live beyond the grave.

We can influence people long after we’re gone.

The larger your body of work is, the more it will echo through time and space after your time on this planet is done.
