AI only becomes annoying when it's apparent to the reader
That is to say, teachers probably could and should use it to become better at what they do.
But if it is apparently to the students that what was generated was AI slop, then the students will resent the teacher.
If the student uses it to develop ideas, that will make them a better thinker.
But the minute it becomes clear that a student used AI, the teacher automatically loses interest and assumes the student learned nothing.
