Kids experience oxytocin differently with each parent

A kid and dad will get a peak of oxytocin when they’re playing together.

A kid will get oxytocin being taken care of by mom when they are hurt either physically or emotionally and need that comfort.

This leads to the trope of dad being the “fun” parent and also makes me think of the fact that Dads prepare their children for leaving home while mothers focus on the experience of living at home.
