With a deeper task list, you would connect every single task to a dream you have. Not just a project, but a dream, an aspiration, an ambition, or perhaps core values.

That way every single task is done with intention in accordance with the version of you that you want to be.

Example in Omnifocus: give each tag a role, energy, and life goal.
