The cycle of cool

I’m listening to this podcast with Robin Sloan, the Sublime Podcast. He’s talking about how, once AI masters a form of something (like a resume or a New Yorker article), we’re going to decide it’s no longer cool, and artists will come up with something weird and interesting to put in its place. Some form of art. I do wonder how this is going to work for the resume. But it does make me rather hopeful that we humans will always want to separate ourselves from machines
