There is no predictive power in most application materials so focus on competency and psychology

if you are in a job application process, none of the things in the process (LinkedIn, resume, interview) have any predictive power over whether or not you’re going to be good at the job. It comes down to modern psychology and how you present yourself as well as how competent you come off. That can be done through projects, that can be done through telling good stories about the accomplishments that you’ve had. Basically, what you want to do is get them to see that you are competent in the skills that they need for this job. And if you can do that with confidence, and that requires more than just the skills - it requires how you present yourself and how well you can connect with somebody, then you win in the end
