using AI does not actually cost much water at an individual level

You use about 16k liters of water a day; ChatGPT prompt using like 2ml.

Which means that in order to get to 16k you’d have to send like 8k prompts a day, but then you probably aren’t doing other things that lead to water consumption, which means maybe it’s better to use ChatGPT all day than just live your regular life, if you care about the environment.
