We are contributing to the rise of facism by using social media products

Part of resisting this rise of facism is by leaving social media sites like meta, etc.

I’m not sure about self-hosted or things like Bluesky and Mastodon which aren’t run by any one company.

But anything that is playing on our attention rather than primarily trying to connect us is going to be something that is used as a tool to control, and politicians will buy their way into it to have their control over us too. It’s like getting access to the mainframe for them.
